Refund policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us. 

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

At Ubiotools, we aim to ensure transparency and satisfaction in all transactions. Please review our Return and Shipping Policy carefully before purchasing. By completing a purchase, you agree to the terms outlined below.

Return Policy Warranty Items: For items sold with a 30-day warranty, the warranty period begins on the day the item is received. If the item is non-functional or damaged during this period, Ubiotools offers the following resolutions:

Repair: We will cover parts and labor (up to the item’s sale price) to fix the issue. Replacement: If repair is not possible, we may send a replacement unit.

Return: You may return the item for a refund (buyer is responsible for return shipping costs). Items must be returned in the condition they were shipped and in original packaging, including any custom foam molds or protective materials. 

Non-Warranty Items: Items sold “AS-IS” or classified as “Fair” are final sale and NOT eligible for return or refund. Warranty Voids: Misuse or User Error: If installation is not purchased and misuse or user error is determined, the warranty is void.

Relocation of Installed Items: Warranty is void if Ubiotools-installed items are moved or relocated without contacting Ubiotools for assistance. To maintain the warranty, Ubiotools must oversee any relocation of the equipment.

Return Shipping Responsibility: Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is damaged during return transit, the buyer must file a claim with their shipping carrier.

Restocking Fees: Cancelled orders or returned items may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 25%. Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable.

Shipping Policy Preferred Shipper and Shipping Fees: If no preferred shipper is selected at the time of purchase, Ubiotools reserves the right to use its preferred shipping provider and will add shipping fees to the invoice (prepay and add). Shipping fees are calculated based on package dimensions, weight, and the destination address. Packaging Standards: Equipment is carefully packaged to ensure safe delivery. If a return is necessary, items must be shipped back in their original packaging, including custom foam molds or protective materials, to avoid damage.

Software and Licenses: Occasionally, Ubiotools may provide original software licenses, registration articles, or software media received with the equipment as a courtesy. These are provided “for testing purposes only.” It is the buyer’s responsibility to comply with the Original Equipment Manufacturer’s (OEM) End-User License Agreement (EULA) and to procure updated software, licenses, or revisions directly from the OEM. Ubiotools bears no liability for the buyer’s non-compliance with OEM software agreements.

Shipping Damage or Claims: If an item is damaged during return shipping, it is the buyer’s responsibility to file a claim with their shipping carrier. FOB Origin (Freight on Board) – International Shipments For equipment shipped outside the United States, the following terms apply under the FOB Origin (Freight on Board) policy: Transfer of Responsibility: Ubiotools’ responsibility ends when the equipment is handed over to the shipping carrier at our shipping point, warehouse, or authorized service center in the United States. Once the equipment is in the possession of the shipping carrier, all risk of loss or damage during transit lies with the buyer.

Insurance: It is the buyer's responsibility to arrange for shipping insurance if desired. Ubiotools does not provide automatic insurance for international shipments. In the event of loss or damage during transport, the buyer must file a claim directly with the shipping carrier.

Warranties Voided: All warranties, including those offered for Excellent and Good equipment, are voided for international shipments. This includes the 30-day warranty typically provided for domestic sales. Equipment sold for export is provided "AS IS, WHERE IS," with no guarantees of functionality, condition, or future support. Ubiotools reserves the right to modify shipping and handling practices based on specific customer or item requirements.
